The case study film

From brand brief to fifteen demos in a day

The brief

Pelly came to us with a clear ask: a bank of polished, podcast-style product demos they could roll out over the coming months as new features launched. The videos needed to live on LinkedIn and across their wider social channels, so the look had to feel premium and unmistakably theirs — same set, same lighting, same branding across every release.

The challenge was volume. We needed to shoot enough demos in a single session to cover months of feature launches without the look getting tired and without compromising on production quality.

Our approach

We gave Pelly a virtual podcast set in Unreal Engine and keyed live with a Blackmagic Ultimatte — a dedicated hardware compositor that delivers broadcast-grade chroma keying in real time. The set was tailored to their brand from the ground up: curtains tuned to match their accent green, a backlit logo box sitting behind the talent carrying the Pelly mark, and a colour palette that stayed consistent across every demo.

Because we composed live, Pelly could see the final image on the monitor as we shot. Brand colours were locked into the scene rather than chased in post — accent green stayed accent green from the first demo to the fifteenth.

  • Blackmagic Pyxis 6K cinema camera
  • Unreal Engine 5 for the 3D podcast environment
  • Blackmagic Ultimatte for real-time chroma keying and compositing
  • Green screen stage with Rec 709 colour-matched on-set monitoring
  • LED reference lighting panels for ambient colour wrap on talent
  • Pelly’s brand palette built into the virtual set — accent green curtains, custom backlit logo

On set

One shoot day, fifteen demos. The schedule was built around how fast we could turn scenes without dropping quality, and the virtual set did most of the heavy lifting. Backgrounds didn’t need redressing between demos — we reset talent, reset frame, rolled.

Real-time compositing kept the day moving. Pelly’s team approved each demo on the monitor as we shot, so by the time we wrapped, we already had fifteen locked compositions ready to push into edit.

Fifteen product demos. One shoot day. One branded virtual set — delivered back to Pelly inside twenty-four hours.

The result

All fifteen demos were delivered within twenty-four hours of wrap. Pelly walked away with a complete bank of branded, podcast-style content ready to roll alongside future feature launches — months of LinkedIn announcements covered in a single shoot day.

It’s the kind of work the green screen stage is built for: high volume, brand-critical, fast turnaround. No LED hire, no shipping kit, no three-week environment build. A real-time virtual set, a tight crew, and fifteen videos in the can by the end of the day.

Stills & behind the scenes

“Working with Vedri was fantastic and nothing was too much to ask. With Vedri, we were able to achieve a level of quality that we simply wouldn’t have been able to otherwise.”
